Otokar has recently made its first export of its innovative telematics system, Bus Monitor, to Portugal.
A Complete Solution for Vehicle Data Management
Developed in-house by Otokar, Bus Monitor offers a high-performance solution to optimize the management and operation of bus fleets. This software continuously collects data through a telematics device integrated into the Fleet Management System (FMS) of the vehicles. The information is then analyzed in real-time and presented on an intuitive user interface. Monitored parameters include door positions, interior temperature, battery level, current speed, engine oil levels and temperatures, and the positions of the brake and accelerator pedals.
Proactive Fault Detection
Bus Monitor is designed to easily integrate with companies’ ERP systems and adapt to the specific needs of clients. By monitoring mechanical and technical data in real-time, such as engine oil temperature, it helps detect potential issues before they occur. Thanks to this predictive maintenance, operators can avoid costly breakdowns and ensure optimal vehicle availability.
